Aged 58, haven’t run since school in 1982. Just followed the programme (mostly!j - it works! Biggest issue has been remembering to slow down. Today was hard, because I was buzzing because it’s the end of the programme, and also it was warm in the sunshine (doesn’t happen often in Newcastle). But as well as hitting the 30 min mark I also hit 5K. Average heart rate figure was…excessive but feeling elated and amazed in equal measures 😉

That’s what I did after Couch to 5k. You’ve got the bonus of the stepping stones runs available on the app-those are new since I finished. There’s no one right way forward after finishing-it’s all about running in a (sensible and sustainable!) way that you enjoy. No rush to decide and you can stay posting here or head over to bridge as it suits you. The magic plan is here…
Congratulations to you Xedweb on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K, well done also on completing it in 30 minutes, you are among only 10% of people who run, run 3 of week 9 in 30 minutes and get to 5K, now go and celebrate your wonderful achievement with 🍷 and 🎂.
