Good morning fellow runners …I know why you’re here…it’s a brand new month and you’ve been doing something wonderful!!!

How have we got to June so quickly?!! There are some beautiful colours out there for us to enjoy which makes our running even more enjoyable !

It’s officially summer and we’re just lacking a bit of sun…but…if you’re like me, the weather at the moment is perfect for a good old run…and some of you have managed to FINISH THE PROGRAMME!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳👏👏👏👏

I have some extra shiny badges to hand out here…so if you have got to the end of the programme and run 5k or for 30 minutes there’s one here just for you!! Determined to enjoy it, despite the 1km of uphill straight out the door and the 8% gradient for 200m at the ¾ point I felt I could have kept going especially how close I was to 5K. But mindful of the wisdom shared here not to push too much, too fast I stuck to the program and came in at 4.6k after 30.

Thanks. I stretched my first consolidation run to 33 mins and managed 5.04k, the 0.4k being really important 🤣
