Totally get the frustration! Been there. This happens to most of us at some point and it’s usually a case of fixing what the cause was, getting stronger and then building the running again. Having a pro involved is the best thing you can do. Really good luck for your appointment and hope it’s not too long before the running shoes are back on.
Calves are usually a pretty quick fix Spiritoffiire. I wouldn’t worry unduly. The main thing is to learn from the rehab exercises your physio gives you. Often you can continue using them as a preventative post recovery. I always have to do exercises between runs to keep things ticking over. All part of the game.
