First 5k

Today I did a 5k race for life (cancer research fundraiser). I've completed c25k 2ce but never got to 5k. I stopped still to catch my breath at the top of a bank for a moment but I ran it all, albeit very very slowly. I'm pleased because it was hot! Thanks to all on here for your support. I thank you and so does the 16 year old kid inside who hated PE at school and was always at the back of any run! (I'm 50 now).
