I graduated last October and kept things going for a while. My last 30 mins was end of January and things dwindled off.
I am keen to get going again and last week did one day of week one and one day of week 2 and seemed ok if anything annoying doing to stop start thing again. Plan now is to do one run of week 3 and one of week 4 then all feeling well continue from week 5.
Does this sound reasonable or am I going to quickly?
I have done a couple of 20 mins runs since end of January and been doing lots of walking swimming and horse riding. I have a habit of over doing it lol
(ps I deleted my old account so new user name)
that’s for any feedback and good luck to those on the journey - enjoy

hi ReturningRunner1 …welcome back to your running life!! Sounds ok what you’re doing…if you need to repeat weeks or start at a week and continue from there that should be ok…if it’s too much just start from the beginning 😉
This is sound advice! I stopped running last October and started C25K on 14th April right at week one! I had tried a couple of runs prior to that and found I need the structure to get back into it! It has really helped now getting into the longer runs!
I have found that I start my runs slower and my pace builds during the run as my breathing settles! Good luck
I think that sounds like a good decision to go out on discovery runs. If you have any pain or find you can't continue on one of these runs, then go back to Run 1 of that week and start over.
I agree with MrBassmanjazz that following the programme from Week 4 is the way to go. Weeks 1-3 have almost the same amount of total running time. It's only in Week 4 that things start to build.
today I did run 1 week 3 it was ok. Didn’t find it too bad. I will continue to week 4 and go from there I think. Thanks all for your great advice and support
