As a two times international runner (have run twice on holiday in france now) I can now officially move onto week 7 next week.

It's windy over here but still warm.

Started running when Sarah told me and it took 5mins to get into a rythmn and apart from a few deep breath moments was surprised (and glad) when she told me I was half way. I dutifully turned around and then the demons started talking about how far it was to run back and maybe I should walk a bit. I started listening to my music and ignoring them but after about 18 mins they told me I had done enough now and that no-one would know if I stopped. I told myself that I could go on till the end of the current song (driveby - train) and then walk. Sarah then piped up in best Geordie that I had now run for 20mins (which was my previous all time record)

I wasn't giving up now so another slurp of water and head down and on i carried. Minute warning came up and I knew I was going to do it. Start the beaming smile (more of a beaming grimace lol) and before I knew it my time had finished.

Big old fat me had run for 25mins. If I never run again no-one can take that away from me

Good luck with your runs this week

Remember if I can do it anyone can

Congratulations! You didn't listen to those nasty gremlins and completed all 25 minutes! And in such a challenging weather! Woohoo! Nobody can take it from you. But you will do it again and again, and then even more. I know you are already hooked up ;)
