Just completed week 5 run 1 and I’m buzzing!! I was so scared I wouldn’t be able to run for 5 minutes three times but I did it!!

Bit daunted by the look of run 2 of week 5 but we’ll see how it goes.

Nerves are normal and nothing to be afraid of. I still get nervous before some runs and I’ve run half marathons! It’s helpful to think about what’s the worst that can happen. Even if you stopped, you could do it again and that’s no big deal, It’s just a run. It’s what’s next and you’re ready for it. One step at a time and before you know it, you’ll be finishing and proud of what you’ve achieved.

Good luck!

Hi I just finished week 5 run 1 this morning too! I share your feelings about the rest of the week. I'm running on a treadmill for various reasons which I think is going to be challenging with the longer runs with no changing scenery to distract me. I do feel as if, should I manage the last run of the week, it seems likely I'm going to be able to finish the programme which is an exciting milestone! Well done to us anyway!
