Really hard work

Today in Devon it is a wonderful sunny day with nice temperatures, so I decided to revisit week 9 run 3.

I don't know if it is the sun and warm weather but I found it really hard going, felt like I was towing a heavy weight behind me, could not get any speed up, I kept going but was really really glad to get to the end, without doubt the slowest run to date 👨‍🦯👨‍🦯👨‍🦯

🍏Well done on finishing it. Are you running very slowly especially through those first 10mins to leave something in the tank to get you to the end of the run? Are you hydrating enough EVERY day?? Are you warming up properly? Are you taking a rest day between runs?? All questions to ask yourself…. However some runs are just like that … difficult 😞 Hopefully your next run will feel easier and be more enjoyable!

Well done for keeping going . I am not sure if this will help but the feeling you describe is exactly how I feel when I haven't drunk enough. I find paying attention to hydration on my rest days as important as on the days when I run.
