Today I went for a nice walk, but decided to revert to my army days of running and walking. So it was 5 minuets walking, 5 minuets running for 1 hour. It was wonderful to think that I could archive what I thought was the impossible 🏃‍♂️👨‍🦯🏃‍♂️👍

Run-walk is a great way to run and a very nice way to get your 30 mins run done!

Quick question though-didn’t you run yesterday? Apologies if I’ve got that wrong. From your posts, it looks like you might have done. It’s usually best to hold on to your non-run recovery days for at least six months to minimise your chance of getting injured. It’s easy to get carried away and suddenly finding yourself on the couch, which isn’t any fun! It’s hard to be patient and recognise where you are on your run journey. It’s worth it though.

If you call the same process fartleking or jeffing you'll sound like a pro😁. The run/walk/repeat method is a bona fide training routine😀👍.
