Hello all. Here am I back to it again after rather a long break. I'm just starting week 4 and can't wait till I get back to those continuous runs. However, I am taking it slow and building up so I don't get thwarted (by injury) in my enthusiasm. It's lovely to see the community so vibrant and still thriving - its really wonderful to be back!

So nice to see back Fionamags after a long break, well done on doing week 4, you will be looking forward to run 3 of week 5, take it and all the other runs slow and steady, good luck, onwards and upwards 🏃🏾.

Thanks Al. I am champing to get to that W5R3 - it's still my all time fav experience of this programme!!! As you say though, slow and steady. Nice to see you are still here cheering folk on as well.

Yes I am still here cheering runners on, I am now an ambassador on C25K, I have ran over 100 parkruns, 46/10Ks and ran/walked 3 half marathons, but from now on 10K is the longest I will run.

That's fantastic Al. You got the t-shirt then 😀. Congrats on becoming an Ambassador too.

I have got more running T Shirts than normal T Shirts, the first running T Shirt was when I ran my first parkrun, then I got a T Shirt and medal for running the London Vitality Virtual 10,000 in 2021 and 2022, I have also got 3 parkrun milestone T Shirts for 25/50 and 100 parkruns.

🍏 Great to have you back running and on the forum! Welcome 🤗 It’s fun redoing C25K because you know what to expect & that you can do it! Enjoy your runs … not long until the continuous runs … you are nearly there. Do keep us posted! 😊

Thanks Annie. I will certainly keep posting - engaging with the forum was always a great motivator for me. I'm about to become a C25k evangelist again LOL.

Welcome back. The good thing is this time you know that you can do it. It's definitely the right decision to take it steady and build up gradually.

Hi Dijep! lovely to hear from you. Yes I'm back on the snail trail, never fear. 😀 It will be great to get back to those long runs though. But I've got all the time in the world now I'm retired.

Hello Fionamags, welcome back! Well done on restarting the plan again, you already know that slow and steady will get you there ; go you!

Welcome back, I'm also just starting week 4 (second time round), isn't it a great feeling when you manage a 5 minute run for the first time? Somehow it feels like you've broken a barrier between 'running for the bus' and proper running! Keep up the good work.

welcome back. Enjoy your runs and take it slowly

I made myself start right at the beginning of the programme. There’s something about working through from week 1 that builds the running habit and motivation - as well as the legs. 😀

Yes I’m trying to get back having been on and off IC for last 4 months or so. Seeing physio again tomorrow hopefully he’ll be happy with my progress although I still have pain after I run about 1.5 k.

Keep enjoying those runs. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Great to see you are back Fiona, I had wondered how you were doing. I hope you enjoyed your time away. I’m glad you feel happy to be home again.

I will look forward to seeing your posts. I hope to be able to join you on the Couchto5k journey again.. Since my foot surgery last July I’ve kept up lots of dog walking, but I haven’t been able to run. Today, at last, I picked up my new multi-activity prosthesis, so I will be testing it out (slowly!) very soon..!🤞

Looks like we’ll be reclaiming those runs together then Susi. Hope the new prosthesis does the trick for you!
