I was planning to do this on Saturday but my eldest daughter was to be induced at the local hospital so it was up early and down to their house.Didn't get to run Sunday and yesterday I was too tired so today was the day.
Having somewhat caught up with a bit of sleep, I headed down stairs to the conservatory and got ready to jump on the treadmill.
I selected W6R3 and set off. It was beautiful, every step unwound me, clearing my head and just switching me off mentally. Running always does this to me, that's one of the reasons I love it.
Then Laura is telling me that I only have a minute left! WHAT? I've only just got on the treadmill!
I checked my watch and I've been running for 24 minutes, so I did the sensible thing, when Laura told me that the session was over and I could walk, I rewound her to the 5 minute left point 😁😁😁
Again, Laura was telling me I had a minute to go, so I upped the speed and finished on a high.
So Week 8 Run 3 is done, 3 runs left.
Happy running everyone!
My 4th grandchild was born 9:55 Sunday evening, 7lb 7oz, mother and daughter doing fine.
