Hi, thanks for being there. I am writing because starting the c25k for the 4/5th time. I am unconfident in doing it and wishing I👍 had a running partner. I have adopted Jo Whiley from the BBC c25k app. So that's a start and this morning run wk1/2 I listened to Just a minute one of my fave radio programmes. I never used music so i always ran in silence. And listening to comedy panel show it kept me so relaxed . If you want to know more about my running herstory. First ever c25k 5 years ago. Since then two serious abdominal surgeries and multiple back and leg injuries. Which basicially had me more on than off running. I am one of those 'come back kids' but its so tough to keep starting from bottom. Keeping in mind my aims for returning seems important. What are your personal reasons for training?

Welcome back. It starts out feeling tough to do it on your own but after a while we realise that it's our special time just for us.Why do I run? To keep as fit healthy and balanced as possible as I head into old age 😁

Hi well done for getting back to it! My running definitely gives me headspace. I too am a comedy podcast user. As the runs get longer so do the podcasts!! They definitely help with relaxing into a run, although, I do wonder what people think as I plodded past with the odd outburst of giggles.Happy running!

🍏👏Jo Whiley was the one that got me through my first attempt at C25K…

The reason I run is because I find joy in my body moving rhythmically in the fresh crisp air. The buzz that nature in its ever changing facades brings to my heart… the joy of being able to run when most other sports are out ohf my league… the joy of feeling fit and healthy… the joy of the after run glow… the joy of talking running to other runners … and much more…

Catch the joy early, take each run as they come… no matter how many times you start from scratch. So what! Each time you run you are a winner!!!

Well done for starting yet again. Many of us have done that! You are in good company 👏😊
