And to you Annie, best wishes and strong legs for 2024 xx
Happy new year to you as well and thank you to everyone for all of the motivation, tips and encouragement I gained from reading the posts on this forum. 2023 was the year that I took C25K seriously. I first tried it in 2021 and got stuck at week 6, then had a bit of a medical scare so it took me a while to get back out there. Again 2022, started in the summer and got to week 6 and became less enthused as the weather turned.
This year has been such a personal achievement, not just for completing C25K but for making running a habit, even enjoying it. I’m now not bothered if it’s not perfect running weather to get out. Thanks to all of the fellow graduates and forumites I’m moving from consolidation to gradually building up time and aiming for 10k over the next few months, something I would never have thought I’d be capable of previously. Good luck to everyone out there for 2024, and for anyone stuck at a certain week and thinking they can’t get past it - you can, just one step after another (even if it feels not much more than a slightly faster walk).
Blwyddyn Newydd Dda 🥳🥳
