I had pain and stiffness in left groin and hip last November , worsening causing me to walk with a stick . I was missed diagnosed and had some very aggressive massage and manipulation . A MRI in March identified a pelvic stress fracture , fracture pubic Rami , After many months of exercise /rest etc I now have the all clear but finding it hard to get back out there . Any tips fir getting back in the zone , I really enjoyed my 5k runs before this .

Welcome back, and...if you have the all clear from your GP, then start the programme again :)

Many of us right now have done or are doing C25K again, including me... no pressure...and like an old friend when you get going...

Check out the FAQ and How to run C25K post... just as a refresher and you are good to go.

Pop into Catch Up Corner too...lots of friends there to share you return with...

Slow and steady and we will watch for your posts!

If you have the OK from your doctor start C25k but listen to your body and don't overdo it. You can always repeat weeks if you need to as you build up strenght and stamina. The NHS Choices strength and flexibility podcasts are great too. Slow and steady and you will gradually notice the difference. Take care and keep in touch with your progress.nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/s...

sounds like you don't quite feel ready for running yet??? Maybe start with walking with increasing speed and distance. Always set your goals at challenging but achievable and make sure you reward yourself with lots of praise and positive affirmation.

Also sorry for all you have been through.
