Completed run 3 yesterday, really enjoyed the run and tried running the first two segments slower so that I could pick up the pace on the last two run segments, I did achieve that, but it made very little difference to my overall time, I think my asthma is improving, but I have been a bit more vigilant with use of the peak flow metre and taking my preventer inhaler 🙄 Anyway I'm going to take a couple of days off as my knees were "feeling it" a bit yesterday and maybe do another week 4 run over the weekend before moving onto week 5 next week, I feel a couple of pool sessions will do the trick👍

Week4 Run3
🍏 So pleased to hear your asthma is improving! You are going about this so well by running slowly to start with & then if you have more to give doing it at the end. However slow all the way is also good. You are building stamina & strength at the moment. Let us know how you get on!
Unfortunately I've had a setback, the day after the run my knees felt stiff and swollen, so I left it a coupe of days but no improvement, left another couple of days and there was an improvement, so I went out on my bike rather tha run, which went well, took it very easy, A week later and still unable to run, I've been swimming two or three times, but my knees are still quite uncomfortable, I've been using Deep Heat or Voltarol and compression supports, I'm going to see how my knees feel after the weekend and if there isn't much improvement I'll have to have a chat with the doctor, I'm making up not running by swimming more which is also helping the asthma, peak flow has actually started to improve, every cloud as a silver lining, I guess
