Just joined the C25K online community after lurking in the background reading all the encouraging posts but reluctant to post! I am due to run the W5R3 tomorrow and have found the multitude of posts and tips and all round mutually supportive vibe really helpful. Hopefully all the tips will get me through in one piece!

Thanks Annieapple, my mantra on Sunday's W5R3 will be slow and steady. I so want to last the 20 mins - fingers crossed, but not toes!

Thanks MissUnderstanding. I keep reading posts about the runs in the weeks ahead. It gives me confidence to trust the program and that I can do this (hopefully!), and in a rather lovely way it feels that I am running with a group rather than on my own.

That was exactly how I felt too! We genuinely are rooting for all of our runners as we see you progress.

I’m a bit of a lonely goat runner in real life (apart from occasional runs with MrU who started after I did). I’m glad I’ve got my running club here!
