I often wondered when I saw people in their jazzy legging what made them choose such vivid patterns ?
As I chose conservatively- often black or grey.
Well I am not sure if it’s the great comfort and fit .
The desire to be seen as I toddle along roadsides .
The good price - found in the outlet store 😊Or a midlife crisis as my daughter suggests

Not a problem at all, mine are black but one pair has some blue patterning, I absolutely love bright ones so next time I need new leggings I'll find some really pretty ones. Yours are gorgeous

I’ve just treated myself to a couple of new pairs, one dragon scale, one tartan (but quite a restrained tartan) as my rainbow paw print and rainbow leopard print ones are getting on a bit and wearing out.

I have to admit, they came last week while we were away, I’ve taken them upstairs but have been wearing the leopard print this week and haven’t even taken the new ones out of the bag! Maybe for parkrun tomorrow….
I run ( slowly) in mine - zero slipping . Or stops for readjustments. They feel like a proper running persons legs 🤣. And they do pocketed options x
Okay, I've done it... I've ordered a few pairs! 🥳 I'll probably regret it when I have to pay customs and such (as they probably amount to another pair!) 🤣 but I couldn't find anything like these Llama leggings in Cologne, Germany, at such a reasonable price... Now... come to think of it 🤔 the Llama ones will still be more reasonably priced once I've paid the government... 💶
Plus, based on past experience, the regret won't last long, especially given the gray April weather we've been having here. I.need.color! 😎

my preference is for camouflage patterns but the most important factors are pockets (must have) and price (not too expensive!)
Does anyone wear Sweaty Betty? I bought the Supersculpt ones as my Physio recommended using compression for my dodgy hamstring!!!

I started with black leggings and was bought some dark green ones as a birthday gift, but then my daughter gave me a pair she'd bought but didn't 'dare wear'. They were black with a bright floral design and I loved them. Have since bought Autumn themed, wildlife themed and have started wearing a pair of puffin shorts in sky blue. I figure I might never win points for style but I might as well have fun. (They're also comfortable, hard wearing and have great pockets!)

On one of the many gray days we've been having here, I saw someone with bright tights and thought "that's a great idea!" So, thanks for the purchase suggestions! I am actually in Germany, so I'll have to see if those places are still a bargain once postage and customs is added... 😊
Midlife crisis? What crisis? And so what even if there was?! You wear what makes you (you only) feel comfortable and, on evidence, a spectacular wearer of unique haute couture, and good for you for that. I’m with you on that one all the way, myself an exhibitor of unusual running gear. My wife claims I could be visible from space with a naked eye given that l only wear nothing but vintage colourful NBA basketball gear. I am yet to see any gentleman openly parading those clothes through the streets of London. Why those patterns? Because they look cool and in my mind they make me look cool, and in return, very comfortable when running. Carry on your thing, ignore the rest!
I agree - with the live and let live sentiment 😊. As long as you’re happy and not causing harm to anyone else - as my Granny used to say. (I am maybe guilty of offending an eye ball or two - but they will live !)
