Week 9 run 1 done 🎉

I've been in foreign climes for the past two weeks so not posted.... But I have managed to keep up with c25k 🥳 Did week 9 run 1 this morning, marking the last holiday run before returning home.

It's been absolutely great running somewhere new - I've run on cliff tops, along beaches, in a harbour town... All very lovely - and very different to my normal running location! I've kept to the usual early bird slot as I've been in the Mediterranean heatwave - I'm actually looking forward to 17 degrees and raining now, hoping it might be a bit easier 😂

I've been on a big family holiday and been joined in my runs by my brother, who completed c25k some years ago. Great to have a running buddy, though he did somewhat put me to shame by making the runs look easy whilst I was a very red, very hot, very sweaty mess 🥵

That all sounds absolutely wonderful! I think some people are just built to look like a sweaty mess. I was a state after my run this morning. When I ran in the heat a couple of weeks ago, I was still red after a cold shower!

You’re nearly there and you’ve done a great job in keeping it fresh and different. Cliff top runs-super! Hot runs are tough-great to have kept it going.

Time to start planning some celebrations? Enjoy those final programme runs. The end of the beginning!
