A sort of nice little run

Still too long a gap between runs but I went despite humming and arhing whether to go or not due to it being so late. Husband gave a barbed comment of'your putting it off again. Just go and do it!' Had a little lay in yesterday and got up at 8am but wasn't ready to run until 11.30am. I don't know what I did to make it so late, obviously faffing around too much. Not long into my little trot I almost collide with a guy on a bicycle going very fast and wearing a balaclava followed by a young lady crying and screaming 'my phone, my phone'. (Phone snatching is rife in my area at the moment) I shouted at her to give up as the phone snatcher was long gone but she carried on going. I would have helped her but she was oblivious to me and kept on running. This obviously spoilt my run a bit and I mentioned to at least 8 phone gazers I passed to be careful as the phone snatchers were out and about, some took notice and some looked at me like I had 2 heads. Apart from this incident I again enjoyed my little bit of exercise on a Sunday morning/afternoon.Enjoy your day everyone.

I’m very good at the umming and ahhing too! I did my ‘ morning run’ at 1.30 today! That was after a 3 day gap!

Your husband is right - just do it! That’s what I tell myself (a bit more forcefully). 😂
