Hope you get better soon. The general rule is rest when you feel unwell, the clue is in the dizzy, lightheaded.

I didn't feel unwell and dizzy till finished running and on cool down, which is why I wondered if it to do it.

Maybe a time to go and just check up with your GP...make sure that all is as it should be. You do need to feel fully fit to run, especially in the warmer weather x

Hi Hanzy, i also have early stage COPD so know how you must be suffering if you have a cold as its more difficult to breath, this running has improved my lung capacity significantly, although i am struggling a bit in the humid heat but i won't let it beat me, however, if you feel unwell and are feeling lightheaded i would stop the running until you feel better, the running can wait. Maybe just go for a walk instead for the duration of time you are meant to run

I wasn't feeling dizzy till I had finished running and was on cool down, I go early morning when cooler, don't think I could run later in day, even if I had time, if I had felt dizzy during runs I would have walked and gone home as It quite remote where I run, but not sure if better to not go at all whilst I have this cold, hopefully over worst now, thanks for advice

Yes probably best to rest up until you feel better, feeling dizzy after a run is not good either, i felt like that once after a run and when i bent forward thought my head was going to spin, i had had a terrible nights sleep as didnt feel that well but got theoufh the run

Hi Hanzy, when I was on week 8 I had to skip it for a cold and sore throat. But as soon as I felt over the worst I got back out there and think doing that really helped. So I would give it a few days at least till you feel more yourself. Good luck with the rest of the program :)
