I started the C25K on January 3rd 2023, finished it in early March , and have now done 13 Parkruns since then, and have got steadily quicker. My best now is 29.01. On Monday this week I ran for 14km without stopping, and I have now signed up to do the Great North Run in September.

C25K has changed my life, truly.

Absolutely fantastic! You’ve made such brilliant progress. So much to look back on and celebrate already! Did you ever imagine you’d be training for a half marathon when you did your first Couch to 5k runs? It really is life changing!

I’m also doing the Great North Run and I’m super excited. I’ve heard the atmosphere is amazing. How’s the training going? Are you following a particular plan?

You might like to pop over to the Marathon and Race Support board and say hello. They’re super friendly and you may well recognise a lot of the same names. There’ll be loads of pom poms waving over there for us on September 10th! Enjoy the journey. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
