Second run of the week and I, wait for it ... enjoyed it! A certain person on here will be happy - oh, yeah baby, a high-five, fist-bumpy, mojo-adjacent run! πŸ€›πŸ™ŒπŸ«£

First time I have used the Nike Run app and I really wished I'd been using it to record runs all along. It very definitely helped having a voice again - even an American happy-clappy voice. Coach Whatshisface is really excellent; sincere, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and preaching to us all, not just the very, very serious young and fast-ies.

Setting off at a nice, easy pace is something I know, but it was good to be told and to have emphasised. Before I knew it I had settled into a rhythm that I maintained for the whole run - apart from rabbit photography, obvioulsy.

I think I will do this same run again - it's 25 minutes, which I extended to 28 for a total of 4.19k. There was more in the tank, but a busy day today, so I preserved a little energy for actual work.

😁 a new concert to NRC 😁 I found the background chatter keeps me focussed and passes the time. There are other coaches which is good

I have about 20 runs downloaded now. Hate how they are organised and how you can't search, but I have enough to be going on with - and so many look interesting/appealing, or, dare I say it: exciting!

I'm glad you had a great run after graduating last week. I feel a little lost without the c25k plan.

I used NRC for my first post graduation run yesterday and it really helped. It would help even more if it was searchable, like you say. I found that frustrating try to scroll through 241 runs to bookmark just a few.

I just spend a few minutes scrolling and download or save the runs I want to do next, there is so much choice.I'm following a training plan at the moment so the runs are picked for me 😁 easy

Oh that sounds a good idea. Another plan :) Can't beat a bit of discipline and rigorous schedule :) I'll take a look at those.

Great post! Yes - those guided runs are really good. I wasn’t sure at first with, like you say, the American voice. I quickly got used to it and now LOVE Coach Bennett.

Wow so glad you're enjoying this. I've become a fan of coach Bennett too. Although I'm having trouble with saved runs staying saved on my newish phone. So much for trying to be organised the night before! But anything to keep the joy and the motivation going πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

This one was so positive - I will go back to it for sure. But I have a selection from 5-45 minutes (for later!) downloaded. That should keep me happy for a while!
