W7 R2

Originally started c25k 2 years ago and managed to complete runs up to and including W6 then pretty much lost my mojo! 🥴 However a few weeks ago I got back on it and started from the beginning and yesterday ran my 2nd run of W7 😀super chuffed with myself but I found last nights run really difficult probably the hardest so far. I run on the treadmill and left it later than normal in the hope it would cool down! My legs felt like lead from around 5 mins in normally I can push myself to run a little faster at the end but lastnight I was just happy to be finished! Tough going 🥵

Extra credit for days and runs like these. Some days and runs will mean discipline over motivation and that'll get you where you want to go. Really well done. On to the next one ✅

Very well done you... these humid days, even inside can make the runs feel so much harder!

well done for keeping going though. Im sure we've all been there and runs like that can be tough. Im like that when I do interval training, the last few intervals feel sooooo hard.

When I first started running and talked of heavy legs, I was advised that sometimes heavy legs can be a sign that you're not hydrated enough and particularly when its more humid. I have to say I do notice a difference when I know I haven't drank as much as I need to.
