After a really bad night the last thing I felt like was a run… instead of just rolling out into my running gear I lay awhile convincing myself to stay put!! Fortunately I have a little voice that reminds me that the best thing I can do is get going into the fresh air even if I just walk… so after a quick warm up, and the 5 stretches that are part of my routine every day I set off… the beautiful cool air made me glad to be out walking… I move into the run & for the next 30mins I had to convince myself to keep going, keep moving…don’t stop now…it was a very slow 3K but I did it! Hopefully my reward will be a good nights sleep tonight!! The discipline of having 3 set run days saved my bacon today! Now for that cup of coffee….🍏

Well done! It’s those runs where it’s so hard to get going, which are the biggest achievements, aren’t they! Super well done!
The easy runs are easy... the hard ones, not so... well done you! I did the RITE thing too... well done you!
Love this so much because discipline beats motivation and you did it even if it was tough and/or felt tough. All these added together have such a great effect on you 👏👏👏
That's great, even though you didn't feel like it you went and did it!
My sleep is messed up. And there's something going on in my thick skull that I haven't yet figured. Hope today's run helped me - certainly enjoying it helped! I think the mental health aspect is massive: getting out of the house, having a plan, getting exercise, being good to yourself, and bonus endorphins too. Well done for getting up and out! Here's to a great sleep!
Well done Annie🍏🍎🍏 sometimes motivation just isn’t enough and we need to push ourselves to get stuff done!
Hope you enjoyed your coffee and hoping you’ll have a pleasant slumber tonight 🛌

You’re a star, that took real strength and presence of mind. Fabulous 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! I did sleep well last night so it was worth it 🙂🙃🙂
