Well did run 1 of week 9 on Wednesday night. Went out at 7.15pm and it was still 23 degrees but managed to run mainly in the shade. A lot of the tips are about taking it easy and not running to fast. Doing each km in between 5minutes 30 and 6 minutes. Is that a good pace or too fast for a novice . Caught up with a running club the other night and thought I couldn't run as slow as that. Wouldn't feel natural

You run at the pace that feels comfortable for you...conversational pace... If you feel happy and you are not struggling in anyway, that is absolutely great.
There is no comparison with other runners... no too fast or too slow... your runs, your pace.
We advise our new runners to take it gently and they do... But the slow and steady of one.. is not the same slow and steady of another
On you go and enjoy!

Oldfloss is very wise about all things running. You do indeed find your own happy pace where it's comfortable to run and you can happily chat away. And if that'snot happening then it'sa case of slowing down. We're not in a race here on this forum, we're just doing it, enjoying it and gaining all the health benefits that go with it too. Good luck with the final 2 runs. I'm sure we'll see you at the graduation post soon
