Hello friends,Have just completed Week 4 Run 3 and so am ready for Week 5.
What I am finding so inspiring is jogging along the local cycle track in the fresh air and bright sunshine listening to happy upbeat music as I go.
However, what I want to share with you all is the smiles and the 'Hellos' I get from fellow joggers. I love it because it is so uplifting. Does anyone else run along a cycle track and gave the same experience as me?

Congratulations to you BathOnion on completing run 3 of week 4, you are doing so well with your running, you can look forward to week 5 and especially that 3rd run, yes it is very nice to see other runners saying hello while you run along a cycle path, this morning I was on a cycle path cycling, not running but I did say "enjoy your run" to two runners who were running in the opposite direction, it was a short 16K bike ride this morning after my 5K run at parkrun yesterday.
The best nods and smiles from other runners is the ones you get when you’re out in absolutely hideous weather and you’re acknowledging what heroes you both are!!
I don’t like comments on my running but I love a smile of solidarity!
I will start week 7 today. The first time I met another runner (I tend to be early and rarely see others) I felt awkward - like an imposter. But I got a nod and a smile and an acknowledgment that we were both out there ... dare I say it ... running!
