Well, after a week off thanks to norovirus I started week 3 again yesterday. I was slow, but I did it and I loved it!

Roll on tomorrow for week 3, run 2. And today I’m going to start a 15 minute weight training on You Tube. That will surely help with my running.

oooh well done! Sometimes it’s hard to get out there again if you’ve not been well. Or if you’ve been away like me!

With the weight training as well, you’ll be fit as a flea!

Norovirus is horrible. Sending sympathies and hoping you’re fully recovered now. It can knock your energy levels for a while.

Weights are amazing for running. I’ve had an injury and my physio has sent me to the gym. Not only will they help you stay injury free but you’ll get faster too. I know that’s not the aim of couch to 5k but it’s a great feeling when suddenly your legs feel like Roadrunner’s! Enjoy!

Well done you and glad that you are feeling better.. poor you! Your weight training will surely help and some extra strength and stamina work on some of your rest days too, is going to help keep that running body happy.
