Bloody Shoulder isn’t mending grrrrrrrrr

Good news my Running & Swimming are not aggravating it if anything it is helping and improving my health!

Quick recap!

January 23 I tripped and fell at work breaking my Right Shoulder! (Proximal Hurmerus Fracture)!

Since then the hospital has been happy to let it heal itself! 1st two months were hideous!

Into April started to get more comfortable but still not brilliant and very restrictive in movement! Mid April I started C25K as rehabilitation the gentle movement helped with restoring some movement!

Physio was happy 😊 with this and some swimming a sort of breaststroke! Plus her exercises!

So today I went back for my 15 week checkup more X-rays and a different doctor but same consultant!

1st comment that’s not a happy shoulder checked the movement range recapped the notes! Conclusion it’s not really healing! So off he pops to see the consultant! On his return it’s decided CT scan on return from my holiday in a fortnight! Which will give it another three weeks to heal!

Carry on running and swimming so your fit for surgery as it will most likely need it!

On the way plus side he asked me about my arthritis in my hands and the previous ganglion surgery! Explained I have another cyst in the wrist joint! Have you had it looked at yes but it was dismissed! I can have a look at that if you want? I’ll book you in for an MRI for that as well!

Before I left I thanked him for listening to me!

So can still run for a while longer. I have to laugh else I will cry 😢

it looks like they are going down the surgical repair side but what they are going to do is the question! The problem is I broke the head in to lots of pieces but as it was still in the cup it was holding it together! They hoped that would hold it together long enough to heal
