i think i've done it!!Dozz-ville Challenge Award For The Discombobulated..........

Well i was a bit of a late starter, having only registered with Dozzer last Saturday after being inspired by other C25k-ers! Did my run on Saturday, my cycle Sunday(1st of the year!) , and was due to get to the swimming pool at 8pm tonight , but events conspired against me! so at 8.30pm we headed to the local beach, and i did my swim there, i'd seen many swimming in the last few weeks and it did look lovely. Boz and George dog accompanied me, and i bravely set forth! EEK! cold to start with! once i got under it was ok, and in sections positively warm! haven't swum in the sea since 2012, not sure why, it was lovely, calm and positively tranquil! I'm not a strong swimmer but i managed to stay in and swan with George dog (see photo, small dog on right!) chasing his frisbee! I'm now aching round the shoulders and will sleep well i think! Had lovely pie and cauli cheese for supper, (bit on the late side) but feeling pleased that i went for it! Will add my entrance fee for Swimming pool to donations to bump up the total if ok dozzer? thanks for inventing your challenge, you've made me swim and cycle aswell as the usual running so hopefully i will get back in the swing of it again!

Wow Ali sounds perfect! Haven't swum in the sea for years. Pie and cauliflower definitely well deserved after that. Sleep well

thanks! me neither! and never stayed in there that long i don't think! i'm nearly dropping off at computer so signing off in a min! Was pleased with the photo, there were still quite a few people around! forgot to mention when i got in shower after had 3 bits of seaweed inside costume!!

Ali the brave! Well done, I love swimming in the sea but only if its warm enough. That picture's great. I really must get round to doing one of these challenges or quests one day! You make me feel lazy- mind you I did do a fitness DVD this morning.

Thanks poppy, me and George were tired! After went to bed he did a large howl like a wolf in his sleep, never done that before! had to go check he was ok! the excitement must have been to much for him.

He was playing frisbee and i went swimming in other direction, and he followed me out to the deep water, very sweet!!!

He can be a bit of a trial, snappy with new people & dogs and a bit feisty but lovely once you know him, didn't have the best start so he has a few issues!! He loves the beach!! Have my brother's JRT coming to stay for the week next week too!!

Oh fun and games for you next week Do they get on okay ? My pug in my pic ( Rocky) is sooo laid back, he loves everyone and everybody , he so sociable . My other pug , Doug is very feisty, he is a Wolf in a pugs coat, he is so feisty for such a little dog, I love them both equally though , they are my world xxx

They've hung out together for a day before, seem ok, ignore each other some of the time, a bit of playing and a bit of Kali putting him in his place! i have time off to hang out with them i've had Kali past 3 summers now but only had George 5 months now!! He is super cute!

Aw Ali, he is a very sweet boy. Isnt it lovely to see how much pleasure they get over something so simple like a Frisbee ? Im so glad he has a happy home with you and your man xxx
