Run 2 of week 5 and 2, 8 minute runs along the canal in the rain ๐ŸŒง๏ธ , I can't remember the last time I ran for that long, it felt so damned good, I won't be able to run for a few days as we are away at Portmerion for a few days celebrating Swmbo's birthday so I think I shall repeat this one again for my next run. Good running everyone.

Pete, you're an inspiration.

I love the fact you've now transitioned to outside - and that pace is very decent for someone with 1 leg!

We are at Criccieth every other week :) But here until next Sunday this time :)

There is, a lovely little route if you leave Portmerion and head into Penrhyndeudraeth, and turn by the GP surgery for Harlech... takes you down a little incline, ( a route to the left through a little nature reserve)m and across the Estuary, across the bridge... a great view of the Estuary and back towards Portmerion one way and the mountains the other. There is a coastal path route through Portmerion but that could be tricky with tree roots etc as you move on ?

Hope you manage a little run if you feel like it and have time:) You could run out and be picked up at the other end in you did the Estuary run.

The Nature Reserve is on the site of the old Gunpowder Factory .

Didn't bring my running gear so just be content with walking around the grounds.
