W7R2 done

And, for some reason, it was harder than w6r3 and w7r1 which are both exactly the same, but that's how the cookie crumbles.

On the plus side, 7 runs left and I didn't have to slow down to finish.

Onwards & upwards

Well done you... relax into the longer runs now... let the newly forming running legs do their own thing.. ! x

It was the legs that were a problem today, they just felt tight, might have been the two hour walk I did yesterday or it might have been my asthma which is allowing my muscles less oxygen, either way another one done.

It could have been that walk...the air quality too could be affecting your asthma... but you did it.. just take care xxx

Sometimes runs are just…tough! There’s sometimes a reason to be found. Sometimes it’s just one of those days. Really done for getting through it. That’s a great thing to have in your toolbox. We’re tougher than we thing we are! 🏃‍♀️💪🏃‍♀️

The music helped today - it was a good distraction :D

As you say, onwards and upwards. We all have tough ones. Just chalk it up to experience!

Thanks Sandie. How are you doing?

Good thanks. Running 3 times a week and looking forward to my first 10k race this year next month. Not as fast as I used to be thanks to endless colds over winter, but hopefully working back up again!

Sounds like you're doing great on the running rollercoaster of fitness :D

I work from home 100% now and I while I miss the human contact and the occasional lunch out, I don't miss the shared viruses :D

My last couple of work contracts before I retired were based at home. I sometimes begged to physically attend meetings rather than dial in just to have social interaction, but, on the whole, it worked well because I had projects in different geographical locations.

how long between runs did you leave it?

I had a bin run on week 5 run1! Run two was much better! Why? looking over the two runs what was different! My W5 R1 I had enter a road run! It was much later in the day no warm up no stretching and a very fast start! Plus it was quite hilly! W5 R2 plan the route I was worried I couldn’t do it however I did slow the run part and managed it!

Try looking at your to runs and see what sticks out for you!

Between w6 r2, w6r3, w7 r1 I have one day break, then a two day break to w7r2 - all on treadmill

I honestly don't see much difference, I think it's just the two hour walk the day before (everywhere has hills here :D ) and the pollen triggering my asthma.

Not what you're looking for?
