not quite sure where I was thinking of running by decided to run along the river back into town and out into the park! After Mondays 5mins run was such a mess up I was a bit worried about about the 8min runs! I didn’t need to worry kept the pace at a slow jog and hey presto I did it! So onwards to Saturdays park run

Congratulations that you did it, as I'm following you, so to speak, it looks like I will have to register for the parkrun to keep up. Good luck for Saturday 😸
it’s a good way of seeing your improvement. You get a time for each run via email after each one! It also gives you PB’s if you get one and sun divides it by age group! Plus once a member you can do park run tourism visit it different ones in the Uk & abroad!
My friend is 74 and has just done her 200th my son in law has done 100! My daughter brings my grandson down to cheer us over the line! Being 2yrs old I am pleased he is getting used to see daddy and myself doing this as I hope he will view it as a regular Saturday morning thing and join in as he gets older!! He actually did his 1st race run on Bank holiday Monday which he really enjoyed
