Week 4 run 3

Feeling great after completing run 3 from week 4, slowly increasing distance and pace is improving too, Stu was just starting to feel it at the end, but just removed leg 🦿 for a few minutes once home and all back to normal. Week 5 looks a bit scary 👹 and I've got a busy week and a bit ahead of me so will not have much time to run so might try to repeat a week 4 run in a few days and delay week 5 until after the coronation and swmbo's birthday. I have really enjoyed week 4.

Yet again, well done Pete 👏

And infact you have just completed a week with bigger training increases than week 5 !

Have a look at this .

A lot of people miss the fact that the bigger increase in training is from week 3 to week 4

Well done, I didn't know anyone enjoyed week 4, I've completed the programme twice and found week 4 gruelling both times

You are so right about this! I hadn’t thought about it but I also found week 4 tough now you’ve pointed it out!

I dreaded it at the start but when I tried it I found it not as hard as I thought.

It’s so nice when that happens!

I’m so glad you said this - I’ve just started week 5 and despite being totally daunted by the idea of a 20 minute run, I did it and I think I found week 4 harder! I actually only joined this forum to say ‘did anyone else find week 4 really hard?!’

Not what you're looking for?
