Starting again/Food Help

Hi everyone I did C25k in 2016, kept running until 2018. Fast forward some years and I lost the will to exist and gained 6 stone!

Now my head is back in the place to be fit and healthy, I feel so overwhelmed and unable to see a tried and tested diet and fitness plan.

Can anyone offer a food and exercise plan ppllllease. I can't cope seeing fad/influenced diet plans, so any researched and evidenced suggestions if you can, thank you so much.

Help pleeeassee :)

Good to see you here !

I'm glad you have decided to start running again .

Please have a look through our programme guide.

healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

It's packed with helpful information to guide you through the programme.

As far as the loosing weight is concerned I cannot suggest a combined plan as the NHS Couch to 5k is of course not a weight loss program but done alongside a healthy eating regime it will will certainly help.

I would suggest having a look at the healthy eating forum here .

You will certainly find many healthy meal ideas here .

healthunlocked.com/healthye...

I'm sure youl will see great benefits if you can combine both .

Good luck

With respect to nutrition, I would look up the work by Prof Tim Spector and Dr Giles Yeo .
