I finished the Couch to 5K on Saturday. It was my third attempt at doing it and I finally managed to stick to it and complete it. Now I have finished I’m wondering what to do next as I enjoyed the structure that the app gave me. Does anybody have and ideas or tips? 😊

We would then recommend a period of consolidation before increasing either distance , pace or time running .

Then have a look at our 'what's next' post .

You will find all this information in the badge request post I have linked for you above .

Happy running!

I would consolidate at 5k. Do some park runs. Vary your routes and then after a few months you could use a plan to progress to 10k if that’s a goal you wanted to aim for. I would do a strength class or Pilates to support your running too.

Thank you for responding, I have been doing some Les Mills classes as well as the couch to 5k a mix of 1/2 hour Body Balance and Body Pump sessions. I’ve also had a massage and am booked in for another, so far it seems to be all good so will maybe repeat the last couple of weeks and I was going to try my local Park Run too but will wait a couple of weeks after I have repeated I think 😊.
