Congratulations! I started feeling bit tired around week 7. I think that was when all the running from the earlier weeks started catching up with me. It’s ok to take extra rest days if you need them. Working on strength and flex on your recovery days can help too.

Slowing pace down is a great option when you’re getting tired, and it’s brilliant you found it helped straight away. Somethings the end of runs can feel tiring and it’s good to have strategies for keeping going when you’re getting fatigued. Slowing down, breaking up your run mentally, cheering yourself on or using music you know will motivate you are all things that help me.

Really good luck with your next one! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Well done getting to the end of week 7!

I also had to take an extra couple of days rest around the week 8 point, but it really did work and set me up to continue through week 9 and beyond.

Best of luck with the final two weeks!

Well done you...listening to your body and hearing what it is saying!

Slow and steady as you go, is certainly the way forward for these lovely, longer runs, and do make sure you are beginning to pop a little extra strength and stamina work on some of your rest days.

It will help !
