And I developed a blister between big toe and next toe.

And on week 2 I dont undetsrand about breathing through nose counting 4 steps, I need lots more air coming in me when running.....I breath with my mouth open. 2 weeks my breathing was bad ( sounded like I was having a breathing attack!) But not as bad now

I lost no weight but legs feel more solid and toned

Hello and welcome. Good to see you here!

Hopefully you have read this essential information post on running the C25K programme, if no,t do take a look. There is so much useful advice there.

Breathing is a much talked about subject...some folk think, breathe in through your nose and out through the mouth, others disagree, but the main things is, breath normally, just as you always do. Try not to overthink it.

If you are running at a conversational pace, then your breathing should be fine, if not, then slow down more...

Take a read of this post too, which is from Catch-up- Corner a few weeks ago...all about breathing, You will see from the replies how different we all are., and what works for each one of us.

Are your socks and shoes the correct ones for running too? If there is some rubbing or chafing that could be causing your blister. Your leg pain could be just caused by the fact that you have only just begun running, it is unlikely to be shin splints at this stage...some strength and stamina work is going to be helpful on some of your rest days too:) Lots of hints on the Strength and flex Forum!

This is not a weight loss programme but linked with a really healthy eating regime, it may support some weight loss for you. I will not be a rapid result either, there will need to be a fair few runs first before you may feel the benefit... toned and tightened maybe :)

I hope this helps you a little... do keep posting and let us know how you are going on:)

Brilliant! It sounds like you are doing awesomely well!

I do wear toe socks, where chafing between toes is just not possible. Injinji makes some specifically for running, and they are great quality.

I also changed to using wide-toe-box shoes, where the toes can spread out a bit more. It sounds like your toes might actually benefit from a bit more space. The shoe make I use is Altras, but there are many running shoes that have a wide toe box.

What helps with blisters is having a layer of two socks, if your shoes allow.

And our Strength and Flex forum is over here: healthunlocked.com/strength...

Let’s keep on keeping on! 😃👏👏👏👍🏽
