Hi lovely runny friends, I'm still here and I've been quietly trying to get back to running for - well, since the Jurassic age it seems. Anyway I restarted c25k with a friend who was also restarting after a long break. We've taken it easy, trying to use the Japanese slow jogging technique (or as oldfloss might say, harnessing our inner snails) 🐌🐌
I've repeated the odd run but on the whole, taking it slow has been working. I was frankly worried about this run (week 5 run 3) because I've had so many issues with injuries and illnesses. But yesterday we went for it, and IT WAS FINE!!!
We're very proud of ourselves because we are a few years older and more battle scarred than the last time we got this far. Week 6 here we come!
