Well, well, well-I’ve just completed week5 and how proud am I! Not fast. Not exhausting. Just exhilarating.

I’m just trusting the plan as my mind otherwise tells me I look an idiot/too old/not a natural runner etc etc

Well done & absolutely right to keep trusting the plan & shutting up the negative gremlins. Getting through Week 5 is a tremendous achievement & you have nailed it! ⭐️

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Fantastic! That one’s a real milestone. No wonder you feel exhilarated. You need a bit of celebration on that achievement!!

Just a minor thing to watch out for. Lots of people find Week 6’s intervals surprisingly hard after the elation of W5R3. Keep it steady and you’ll nail it.

Ours minds can be really unhelpful. Well done on hearing the negativity and just doing it anyway. Brilliant! Enjoy your rest days, runner! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

"Not fast. Not exhausting. Just exhilarating" That sounds like the perfect run. Well done, do the same for the next batch because going back to intervals can be sneaky!😊

Huge well done you... slow and steady will get you exactly where you want to be. How good is that... you just felt it was... exhilarating...blooming brilliant!

And.. whatever your mind ( or the gremlins in there tell you0 ... they are wrong... YOU are awesome... on you go and take it gently!

Well done JeremiahObadiah , not fast and not exhausting is exactly what you want.

As for how you look, don't worry. My mostly orange running gear and chest-and-back lights turned me into an illuminated satsuma for this evening's run. ✨🏃‍♀️🍊

Well done JeremiahObadiah, week 5 is a good week to crack, past halfway now. Your own mind can be quite cruel sometimes but at least you can tell it to get lost 😁

Many thanks for posting your progress. Reading it has given me the push to get off the sofa do my own W5 R3 today! It went smoother than I'd anticipated. And now looking forward to W6 (Gulp!)

Bravo to you.

Did Week6 R1 yesterday, with the advice of many here in my head. It was good, not exhilarating like 5/3 but another lovely red tick on my personal running chart. ( I’m incredibly slow!)
