I’ve just completed W3R2 and I have to say, if it wasn’t for all the posts on Sunday about Tim’s run, I’m not sure my motivation would have done it on its own! I didn’t know Tim as I’m a newbie to this, but his legacy lives on. In reality, it’s 4 weeks since I started, but I’m mid W3… I will keep going!

This is such a lovely post to read. ❤️

I’m sure he’d tell you to keep running (slowly!) and keep smiling 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

I think that's the thing about the forum - it gives us all the motivation to keep going and Tim was a big part of that.

Well done. Looking back I think week 3 is the big step up. The three minute run end points are far enough away to not spot or estimate, ie the lamp post, the gate, the house, and at the end of this week I felt I might actually be able to run and that C25K was working. Belief set in. And the support of this community, the mentors, seeing finishing posts (graduation) gained momentum. Remember slow is the key to increasing time and distance.

Well done -please.......keep going you won't regret it. I won't pretend it's easy but it is doable and the benefits are too many to mention. I did this plan over 2 years ago with the aid of these posts and I, like so many others, am still trotting along at my own pace. Truly life enhancing!

Well done 👏🏼

Those first few weeks are really hard…I know! I used to count off the seconds to the end of each run 🙄

The programme works, you’ll get there…and we’ll be here cheering you on! 📣🙌🏼🏃🏻‍♀️

That’s great news Chuckles3. I don’t spend a lot of time on the forum but I really enjoyed reading all of Tim’s runs over the weekend. It was a brilliant idea for us us all to do a tribute run at the same time, more or less. The photos have been lovely and the sentiments expressed very moving. What a community, eh?
