Fantastic! It’s a lovey community here. Glad you’re settling in and enjoying it.

How’s the week gone for you? I had an extremely wet run yesterday (my trainers are still sodden) but it was so much fun I’m still smiling about it! Is your calf feeling better now?

with all the loving support I have received , I have take on board and my muscle calf is getting stronger. I know what you mean about running in the rain. It’s so refreshing and welcoming. Unfortunately I cannot run without taking some water with me. I often see runners able to run with no water and I don’t know how they do it. It’s not a problem for me when it’s rains 😀

Great news about the calf muscle. Fingers crossed it behaves itself!

Water is a pain to have to carry and it annoys me every time! Depending on where you’re running, you might get away with leaving a bottle behind a tree if you’re looping past the same point a few times. I’ve done that when I’m doing speedy sessions along a lane. Unless it’s extremely hot, I don’t take water with me if I’m planning on running for less than an hour. If you’re drinking plenty between your runs, you might find that helps with not needing it for c25k length sessions. That works for me. Otherwise, maybe you can find a belt or a vest that you like. Shopping for kit is always fun!

Good luck for the next run! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

I've got a soft plastic water bottle. Imagine a tube of toothpaste but with water inside. It holds 250 ml and I got it from Decathlon. It fits inside my belt and gets smaller as you drink from it. If you're careful and squeeze all the air out it doesn't even make sloshing noises while you run :)

thank you. I’m going to shop for this online. Made me laugh about the sloshing noise. I jog slowly and people walking in front of me can hear me coming via the sloshing but as I’m a beginner I don’t always pass by them fast enough. They are always looking back to see where I am so that they don’t get in my way as I eventually pass them 🤣
