Week 5 Run 2 done (again!)

I feel a bit of a fraud; I graduated C25K a couple of years ago then stopped running for ages. Well, I'm back in the groove, started at W3R1 and it's going OK. My only problem is that the flaming app keeps stopping but I just keep an eye on my watch - it's easier once the runs get a bit longer. So it's Park Run by Christmas i hope!

Welcome back Lil! Enjoy C25K again, at least you know what to expect each week! Don’t forget if you want to get back into the Parkrun community, you can walk it!

Fraud? How come? Are you completing your runs on a motorbike? Are you sending someone who looks like you out in your place?

You’re doing the work. You’re making the progress. You’re getting fitter and stronger again! That’s a brilliant thing with absolutely no trace of criminality about it!

Your previous experience will stand you in great stead-you’ve already got skills you didn’t have last time which puts you at an advantage in that respect.

Wishing you loads of luck! ❤️

Thank you, reading this makes me feel very positive. And you're right about the skills, I'm already noticing that running feels natural again.

As above, nothing fraudulent about starting again! More fraudulent to sit on your sofa and declare "oh yes, I can run 5k" when you haven't for years! 🤣

Enjoy working through the programme again, this time with the added benefit of knowing you're not going to die, you really can do it, that it's not rocket science or magic, just a bit of determination and fun! 👍🏻😁
