Good morning you lovely runner…I hope you’re all well & enjoying the cooler weather and the beautiful colours that are starting to appear…
I just wanted to share with you my runniversary…5 years today I graduated with the help from this lovely forum.
I’ve been a bit distant from HU for the last 12 months as I started working again after 19 years of staying at home to look after my babies…so I apologise for my absence…I do try & pop in now and again & I like it when I have a ‘job’ to do because it means I can’t shirk my duties & I get to read all of your lovely posts!!
my running has also taken a back seat which I am desperate to change back to how it was..so being on here also motivates me to get out of the door…
So on my runniversary, I just want to thank each and every one of you for just being fab…being you…and keeping me going with all your encouragement & inspiration 🥰🥰🥰
Happy running my friends

Hi Mummycav, it is lovely to hear from you. I started C25k four years ago, and you are one of the first names I remember from my initial engagement with this forum; a happy Yorkshire lass who made me feel at home! I never managed to balance work and other activities, so my running had to wait until I was 66. I hope that your family will encourage you to find the time; you have given so much for them. I am sure that mum has earned some “me” time 🙂
Thank you for your lovely words Beachcomber66 …I remember you graduating…I love sharing everyone’s journeys & watching their running going from strength to strength…you’ve got some mileage under your belt now haven’t you?!! xx
Aww, thank you my lovely friend…my life would not be complete without HU and my VRB’s with whom I share many a run with…the next 5 years? I’ll drink to that!! (Water obviously 😉 ) xx
Happy runniversary to you Mummycav on occasion of your 5th anniversary on graduating from C25k, it's been a lovely 5 years for you although you havn't been running too often recently, well done.
thank you AlMorr …it certainly has been a life changer…who’d have thought I’d still be running after 5 years?! I’ve had my ups and downs but all I have to do is turn to my VRB’s and I’m instantly better!! x
I actualy missed my 2 year runiversary, a few weeks ago, had a break over the summer, like you, havent posted on here for ages, but keep an eye on what's going on.
Happy runniversary 🎉🥳 Life ebbs and flows, but you know you will always be able to fit in as much or as little running as you can and that your VRBs will be here to cheer you on xx
Hi Sandie1961 …another one of my long term VRB’s …running is def something that you can dip in and out of…and miss when you don’t get out there …I’m making a conscious effort to make more time for my running …I need it..it’s my saviour!! And I love to hear the cheers from everyone xxx
Celebrations needed here 🎉 I hope you manage to find some you time for your running to continue your journey. You’ve given me great advice and support on here too 🥰

I was much better this morning when I woke up but starting to feel a bit grotty by the end of the day…I’ve had some more cold & flu stuff & I’ll have another early night…thank you Floss xx
Well done - 5 years is a great achievement. Think back to 2017 and you’ll realise how much you have progressed. I’ll be two years in November and that seems a different life now. Maybe celebrate tonight with a glass of something? 😁😁
