my first thoughts would be running shoes too tight ! Possibly try different lacing technique.

Numbness and pins and needles can be a sign of restricted blood flow, so try loosening your shoes or lacing differently, as suggested by Instructor57

It is normally recommended to have a thumbs width between your big toe and the front of your shoe box, to allow for swelling of feet. Many find that their feet swell as they run longer durations.

Have you increased your distance/duration?

Are there visible signs of your feet swelling?

my trainers are a size bigger and loads of room in the toe 😃

Look at the shoe lacing techniques linked to by Instructor57 as these can surprisingly move pressure points from particular parts of your feet.

How is your circulation generally?

Good circulation. I have high arches and wide feet should i try wide or high arches?

That's beyond me.

Perhaps go and have a chat at a specialist running shop.

Just try out different lacing techniques MCrun , it doesn't take long and it's free! As someone with wide feet, fairly high arches and high instep I can confirm that lacing up too tightly, particularly over the instep, can result in painful, numb or tingling feet, even in shoes that are correctly fitted and sized.

As others have said.. check the laces and make sur you are wearing the right socks for running and,,, make sure you feet are warm when they go into the sock and shoe.

Otherwise, get checked out by a registered podiatrist if things do not improve.

Yeah, I get this when I’ve been running a while and my feet swell a bit. I have to lace my right shoe really loosely so it feels a bit big at the start but is perfect by the middle and end. It feels really weird running with a numb side of your foot 🦶😂
