I lost my mojo a few weeks ago just as I was about to start week 5 - no particular reason, just couldn’t find the drive to keep moving through this programme. However I was still walking loads and have done my best to keep healthy habits so today started back at week 3 again. It’s wasn’t easy but I’m glad to say I did it and feel good! I actually enjoy running - there’s a memory of happiness every time I manage to go and it felt lovely today again. Aiming for run 2 on Tuesday after work. Happy running everyone.

It’s the motivation out of the door that can be the hardest. I try to remember how I’ll feel after the run and give myself a 10 minute timescale for starting a run - I only have to go for 10 minutes. Once I’m through that, I have broken the inertia and just keep going.

Same thing here but happy to be out today. I’ve been walking loads but couldn’t muster the drive to up the pace to a run. Ollie and I did well though lol. He loves being out and about. We did a slightly different route today which is flatter then our usual run and he loved it.
