Feeling great!

Hello my fellow runners I just wanted to share the great feeling I had today.

I was on my 4th 30 minute consolidation run and do you know what? I felt great! Went my usual slow pace but I felt I could run forever (think Forrest gump) obviously I didn't, just ended my run on a high!! Definitely feel like I've got this. I won't be getting all cocky though, will start to gradually increase my time. I really want to get to 5k, only 1.5 to go.

Have a great day everyone

That’s the best feeling-finishing feeling like you could have gone further. Finding that pace is just brilliant. It sounds like you’re flying right now. Massive well done to you.

Sounds great! I’d like to feel like I could run further at the end of a run so today I’m going to start off slower than usual as I normally start off too fast - you’ll get to that 5k soon. Happy running!

Thank you. I am really conscious of my pace at the beginning and I seem to naturally find a good rhythm. I sometimes get ahead of myself and remember to slow it down. Good luck with your parkrun. I will get to one soon as it is starting to cool down in the morning now

I went off too fast again at the start and had to slow down - I get caught up in the moment 😂 I’ll do my next solo run starting slow as I’ll have no distractions 👍🏻

I imagine it's quite hard to start slow when everyone is rushing off. Hope your next run goes well

Ahh thank you so much. The program is great and it definitely works. Finding your comfortable pace is the trickiest thing I believe. But you will get there. Remember the hare and tortoise, I'm that tortoise 😂Happy running
