I got as far as completing week 9, run 2 when covid hit my kids and I for the first time in June.
I tried to get back into walks and yoga as quickly as I could, but running took a back seat as I was just too tired with the demands of work and parenting.
Anyway, after almost 8 weeks ‘off’ I started again, and quickly discovered that I’m back at the beginning. Bah humbug!
So cheers to week 2, run 2! Now I just need to find my groove and confidence again!
The Saharan dust has finally cleared, which means us in the tropics are looking at tropical systems coming off the coast instead. Hopefully the lack of dust means I can run more consistently. Even better when the weather starts to cool off - which is usually end of September.

After covid, we had 6 weeks of catching every bug going, and my other half was traveling for work at the time so I’m not sure if it was covid fatigue, or parent fatigue…. So recovered, yes, back to normal? No, not yet!
I’ve had post viral fatigue / multiple shingles bouts before, so slow and steady is the name of the game!
Well done to you WhaleSongC on restarting C25K after almost 8 weeks off running.Interesting that you mentioned that the Sahara dust has finally cleared, are you in the tropics? as you say that tropical systems are coming off the coast, I hope you enjoy your run once the weather starts to cool off.
