Congratulations, but please stick to the plan...........it works........

You actually exceeded the 10% rule used by most experienced runners to avoid doing too much too soon.

We are all capable of doing way more than our bodies are conditioned to do, but not without increasing our injury risk. Sticking to gently progressive training plans is the safest way to push our limits, whilst gently increasing our resistance to injury.

Injury often strikes out of the blue and can stop you for days, weeks or even months.

Take care.

Well done completing W5R3.BUT !

Definitely not a good Idea to have run for twice that time !

That was taking a huge risk and it simply is not worth it .

Stick to the program and take care

Congratulations to you Nellanamron on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K but do keep ridgidly to the program, no running on consecutive days or longer than necessary, perhaps because of that longer run you should take a extra day off running before you run run 1 of week 6 which catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop, in your case 40 minutes run you have just run

You are capable of doing so much more to than you think… and also more than you should!

Many congratulations on the first half of that run… a milestone is ticked off.

The second half? OK… I get it… but please learn to resist the temptation to do what you feel is possible! Now, you have precisely nothing to prove during C25K, you just ran over the requirements for graduation, in a way that’s great… but what’s awesome is us getting to see you graduate without injury and then watch your journey to and beyond all your goals. Enjoy the last few weeks of this, relax as you know you got it… and become the awesome & smart new runner you always had in you but never knew! You will get to amaze yourself many times by what you’re capable of… there’s no rush to do it again.

Happy Running.
