W5R3 done

I’ve done it, I’ve run for 20 minutes nonstop. The first 10 minutes I found the hardest but seemed to get into my stride for the last 10 minutes.

With every run my head goes into a negative place, thinking it’s too much for me to do. Then I put on the app and away I go and all those negative niggles disappear.

All I can say is that I’m a happy girl atm. My husband is running with me too and he’s smashing it.

Enjoy your day everyone and keep running 🏃‍♀️

Well done! You've just discovered the phenomenon known as the Toxic Ten.

He wanted to have a go too, he’s doing really well. We encourage each other to keep going

Did he begin at W1R1 or just join in at a later stage? If so, which stage?

Yes, he started at week 1 with me, he’s 73 and I’m proud of him having a go x

Amazing well done! I am on week 5 run 1 and I am very worried about the 3rd run, but your post has made me feel a bit more confident towards this :)

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾, so nice that your husband is also running with you. 😊 🏃🏾

We’ll take things as they come, it was strange not having the walk in between runs. My husband is enjoying the challenge and rising to it also x

Fantastic, well done! I remember doing the same run, I was so nervous. When I completed it I couldn’t stop grinning I was so pleased with myself! I may have had little cry too…

That's great I did the same today 😎 Totally get that feeling of thinking it will be too much. I get scared every new week 😨 but feel proud and gonna keep going. Good luck for the rest of the runs!

The first 10 minutes is always the hardest part of run. As noisier says it's called the toxic ten. It is how long it takes your body to adjust.
