ο»ΏI did it ππββοΈπ. 9 weeks ago I would have guaranteed that I wouldn't have got this far. OK so I'm slow but at the beginning of this adventure I could barely manage to run for 30 seconds and now I'm 2 stone lighter and running for 30 minutes. It has become my happy place, an escape from life's stresses and it's made me a calmer more patient person. If anybody was in any doubt about trying this I'd say without a doubt give it a go. It's one of the best things I've ever done and I'm so thankful to the practice nurse who pushed me into it and all of you who have given me so much support and advice.π π On with consolidation now before I think about what's next. Running is now part of life.πββοΈ π

Congratulations Mouse, you did it! You must be so proud π₯Ή youβve done so well on your journey and now letβs see where it takes you. I hope Iβm not far behind - a bit of a twingey knee today so maybe tomorrow π€π»Keep us updated on what you do next ππ½ββοΈ
Thanks, I'm still buzzing π Take care of that knee but I'll be looking out for your celebration post soon. π
I bet you are! ππ»Iβve just been out for a 6k walk and no knee pain but weirdly it aches when I stop π€·π»ββοΈ
Stretches seem to keep my achy (& increasingly aged) joints going. I found a few visits to a physio well worth it. π§ββοΈ
I think youβre right, I havenβt run since last week and Iβve not done any walking or stretches since.
The older I get the more I realise I have to keep everything moving π΅at least a bit or the joints seize up.π
Excellent news! A very well deserved congratulations! π πββοΈ π₯³
